Surrey reuse network

Action leader(s)

Surrey County Council (SCC)

Summary

The aim of the Surrey Reuse Network (SRN) is to increase furniture reuse across the Surrey county and reduce the volume sent to landfill. More specifically, Surrey County Council (SCC) seeks to (1) enable the 5 networks of Furniture Reuse Organisations (FROs) to work as a county-wide network, delivering coordinated services that would optimise reuse and provide a consistent, high-quality service for residents; (2) build the capacity of individual FROs to handle greater volumes of furniture and white goods; and (3) raise public awareness of the potential for re-use and increase access to it.
