Summary

ResilieNtWEB is a strategic support programme for SMEs to help them increase their resilience, i.e. their ability to anticipate market changes, adjust to them and learn from the process. The project partners are all innovation support actors in the North-West Europe area, aiming to make local economies more resilient and sustainable. A first objective was to make the business case of existing SME more resilient by using the resilient design toolkit. This has delivered short term eco-innovation action plan approved by all SME. A second objective was to test a new collaborative approach by clustering companies on a central innovative project which is the full integration of a greenhouse with building applying the “close the loop” principle. This project was co-funded by Interreg IVB, which promotes better integration within the Union of large regions in different countries facing similar problems. It involves national, regional and local organisations.
